Blockchain transactions are by nature transparent and public. Anyone can use a Solana blockchain explorer to view transactions (for example, seeing that Wallet ABC sent a token to Wallet XYZ). However, wallet addresses are pseudonymous – they are random strings of characters that are public but not tied to your real-world identity. Unless you have publicly associated your wallet address with your personal identity elsewhere, no one can determine from the blockchain alone who you are. We do not link your wallet to any personal profile, and we have no additional information beyond what is visible on-chain.
By leveraging the Solana blockchain for game logic and transactions, we ensure that game outcomes and asset ownership are recorded securely without requiring any personal data. All in-game assets, tokens, or progress are managed through your wallet and the blockchain. Ghiblify Games does not maintain separate databases of your game inventory or history – those are derived from the blockchain itself. Please note: Blockchain records (including game transactions) are permanent and immutable. Ghiblify Games cannot alter or delete on-chain data once a transaction is confirmed. That said, these records contain only game-related data and cryptographic information – no names, emails, or personal identifiers – so your privacy remains intact on-chain as well.
Instead of traditional user accounts, Ghiblify Games uses wallet-based access for all player interactions. You connect a Solana blockchain wallet (such as Phantom, Solflare, or others) to play our games, which serves as your login and identity. You do not need to create any username or password with us, and we never collect account registration details.
When you connect your wallet, we can see your public wallet address and any in-game blockchain assets (e.g. tokens or NFTs) it holds that are relevant to the game. This information is used solely to enable gameplay features (for example, to verify ownership of a token or to process a token toss move) and to display your blockchain-based game items. We do not receive any personal information from your wallet connection. Wallet addresses by themselves reveal no personal data (no name, email, etc.) – they are simply cryptographic addresses on the blockchain.
Importantly, Ghiblify Games never has access to your wallet’s private keys or seed phrases. When you connect your wallet, all sensitive authentication is handled by the wallet provider (e.g., your Phantom wallet app or extension). We only interact with the wallet through secure, signed transactions. At no point do we ask you to divulge your private keys, and you should never share them with anyone. You remain in full control of your wallet and funds; our games just request necessary read/write permissions (with your approval) to facilitate gameplay. This wallet-based system means you can play anonymously – our system identifies you only by your wallet address, and nothing more.
Because we do not collect personal player information, we do not retain any personal data. We do not maintain user profiles, account histories, or any databases of player information on our servers. There are no individual user records to update or delete, since we avoid collecting personally identifiable information altogether.
Any game-related data is either stored on the blockchain or locally on your device. For example, if a game uses tokens or NFTs to represent items or progress, those are managed via the Solana blockchain and exist in your wallet. These on-chain records are outside our control and are retained indefinitely by the decentralized network, not by Ghiblify Games. However, as noted, blockchain data does not include personal identifiers about players. If you uninstall our mobile game or disconnect your wallet from our web game, there is no personal data left with Ghiblify Games – your progress is tied to your wallet and the blockchain, not to any account on our side.
We also do not store any tracking logs or analytics that could be tied to individual users. Our minimal logs (if any) are used only for server health and security and contain no identifying information. In short, since we gather no personal info, we have nothing to retain beyond the public blockchain transactions necessary for the game to function.
We build our games using the Unity game engine, a popular development platform. Ghiblify Games itself does not collect personal data, and we do not share any personal information with Unity. However, please be aware that when you use our Unity-based games (especially on mobile devices), Unity may automatically collect certain technical data about your device and application usage for its own analytics and product improvement purposes. This may include information such as your device type/model, operating system, IP address, device identifiers, and non-personal usage statistics (for example, game crash reports or performance metrics).
Any data collected by Unity is governed by Unity Technologies’ own privacy policy and terms, which are independent of Ghiblify Games. Importantly, this data is generally collected in aggregate form and does not identify you personally to Ghiblify Games. No Unity Analytics or Ads: We have not integrated Unity Analytics, Unity Ads, or any advertising SDKs into our games. That means Unity is not collecting in-game behavioral data for advertising or monetization purposes on our behalf. By avoiding these optional services, we ensure that your gameplay remains private and free from third-party ad tracking. Unity’s involvement is limited to the core engine functionality and any basic telemetry that Unity itself needs to function (such as crash diagnostics). We do not send Unity any personal user information, and we do not allow third-party ad networks or data brokers to collect information through our games.
In summary, aside from Unity’s platform-level data collection (which is abstract and not tied to your identity), no third-party services are collecting your data through our games. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook SDKs, or any social media trackers in our products. Your privacy remains protected from all angles.
